LMA eLearning Classroom: Coaching and Networking for Legal Professionals

Summary:

This course will be focused on coaching and encouraging attorneys in your organization to become stronger networkers.   In this 4- week interactive course, participants will learn systems and skills that every attorney should know and use on a weekly basis.  Learn how to best ‘coach’ your attorneys so they will likely accept and use your ideas.  The course will cover the following areas:

  • Networking challenges – what obstacles do attorneys face that get in the way of effective networking? What challenges does legal marketing staff face when working with the attorneys? How can you overcome these challenges?
  • Networking plans – You will be introduced to a step-by-step process to use with attorneys when helping them to create or enhance a strong, personal networking plan.
  • Networking skills – The course will cover many skills attorneys (and others) need to succeed at each networking event they attend.  These skills include appropriate body language, crucial listening skills, specific questions to ask in these environments, and effective post-event follow-up.
