Time to Clean Out Your Closets!
LMA Chicago's Pro Bono Committee is asking you to open your closet doors and finally purge those suits, dress shirts and shoes you no longer wear for our first-ever "Professional Clothing Drive."
C'mon, we've all got them, you know, the token suit we keep thinking we'll wear (or fit into!) one day! Time to get rid of it and benefit a good cause.
Donations will benefit two wonderful non-profit organizations, Bottomless Closet and Goodwill Industries. To learn more about these organizations, please see below.
Bottomless Closet requests, if possible, to try and donate clothes that are currently suitable for Fall and Winter weather since those are the months in which we will be making our donation. Please keep in mind donations must be in good shape (i.e. no holes, stains).
Needed items include:
- Suits
- Dresses
- Blazers
- Shoes
- Accessories (i.e. scarves, nylons, jewelry)
- Clothes hangers
Drop off dates
Thursday, October 18 - Chicago Chapter Monthly Meeting
Wednesday, November 28 - Chicago Chapter Monthly Meeting
