LMA Chicago — Call to Serve
The Board of Directors of LMA Chicago would like you to consider running for a position on the 2009 LMA Chicago Board of Directors.
As a member of the Board, you can make a difference in how the chapter provides services to its members, enhance your leadership skills, make important industry connections for career building opportunities and make friends who share your interests. Your time commitment is limited, but your rewards are potentially limitless!
To serve, you must be a current member in good standing with LMA Chicago who has been a member of the organization for a minimum of two years.
The following six board positions are available for nomination:
President-Elect
(Three-year term as President-Elect, President and Immediate Past President)
Secretary
(One year term)
Treasurer-Elect
(Two-year term as Treasurer-Elect, Treasurer)
Member at Large: Liaison to Marketing/Public Relations Committee
(One year term)
Member at Large: Liaison to Membership Committee
(One year term)
Member at Large: Liaison to Special Events/Projects Committee

COMMITTEE AND SUBCOMMITTEE CHAIR POSITIONS
LMA Chicago is also looking for members who are interested in volunteering to serve as Committee/Subcommittee Chairs for one of LMA Chicago's several committees. Committee/subcommittee chairs are selected and serve at the discretion of the Chapter President and Board of Directors. The position of Committee/Subcommittee Chair offers the opportunity to provide direction to and involvement with chapter members, to expand your personal involvement in the legal marketing community and to work with colleagues, as well as hone your leadership skills.
To serve as the chair of a committee or subcommittee, you must be a current member in good-standing with LMA Chicago.
