To attract top law students, Shearman & Sterling retooled its website and developed a recruitment brochure with the theme, “One Foot Planted Firmly in the Future.” It was carried out by clever references to feet (“global footprint,” ) and shoes (“no loafers,” “big shoes to fill” ).
