Kelly Williams Rike

Meet Kelly Williams Rike, director of business development at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in Atlanta, who serves as LMA Southeastern Chapter President.

Kelly Williams RikeKelly Williams Rike is the Director of Business Development at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, a national firm with more than 475 lawyers in six offices.  Kelly manages the firm’s eight-person business development team, which focuses on working with the firm’s practice groups to identify and achieve their strategic goals.  In addition to leading the firm's cross-service initiative between practice groups, she serves as the business development liaison to the Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups.  Kelly joined Sutherland in 2002 as the firm’s first business development professional.  Prior to joining Sutherland, she worked at another national law firm in Atlanta and at a regional firm in North Carolina.

Kelly is an active member of the Legal Marketing Association and currently serves as President of the Southeastern Chapter.  She previously served as Vice President and Conference Chair and Treasurer.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology and is a member of the UNC Young Alumni Council.  Prior to joining the professional services marketing world, Kelly spent a number of years as a development professional in the fundraising office of her alma mater. 

Kelly and her husband, Zach, live in Atlanta with their dog, Otis.
