Organizational Structure
LMA is led by an elected International Board of Directors. This Board consists of a President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, an Associate Member, five Members-At-Large and our Executive Director and Associate Executive Director. The Chair of the Chapter Presidents' Committee may also take part in all Board discussions as an ex-officio/non-voting member.
The Board meets approximately ten times per year, usually by conference call. Each Board Member is asked to serve as Board Liaison to a Committee.
Each committee also has a Chair that usually serves a two-year term. Any LMA member is eligible to serve on a committee. Committee Chairs prepare a report to the International Board for each international board meeting.
LMA has chapters (click here for a full list) throughout North America. Chapter presidents form the Chapter Presidents' Committee, which meets monthly by conference call.
