Edelman, Atlanta is seeking an Account Supervisor to join its Corporate Communications PR team.

If so, you might be just the person we’re looking for… Edelman, Atlanta is seeking an Account Supervisor to join its Corporate Communications PR team.  We are currently looking for an AS with 5 - 7 years of external PR experience to join our fast growing Corporate Communications practice. We foster an environment for creativity, fun, learning, growth and trailblazing approaches to PR.

You will work with senior leadership to develop plans, manage teams and projects, and take the lead on reporting results back to our clients. Your clients might include an award-winning corporate law firm, a global B2B company, and a Florida based real estate company that runs the gamut of PR services, including local marketing, public affairs, crisis communications, and executive positioning to name a few.

Requirements

  • Manage the overall quality of work on multiple accounts by demonstrating professional and team leadership
  • Supervise junior staff
  • Build strong relationships with clients as the day-to-day client contact
  • Play a major role in the research, planning and development of comprehensive public relations programs
  • Address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
  • Coach company spokespersons
  • Generate media outreach strategies
  • Write press materials and other documents
  • Evaluate campaign results against objectives
  • Assist in successfully growing existing accounts
  • Take responsibility for budgetary issues, including account profitability
