About the Speaker
Thomas S. Clay
Tom Clay is a principal of Altman Weil, Inc. He has nearly 30 years experience consulting to the legal profession. Mr. Clay heads consulting assignments in strategic planning, law firm management and organization, practice management, and merger and acquisition.
Mr. Clay regularly writes for national, state and local publications germane to the legal profession. He is a frequent lecturer on law firm management issues, and he has addressed the American Bar Association's annual meeting, the ABA's Board of Governors, the National Conference of Bar Presidents and Bar Executives, the Commonwealth Law Conference, the Law Society of Scotland, the National Association of Law Firm Marketing Administrators' annual conferences, the Association of Legal Administrators' national conferences, the Association of Management Consultants' national conferences, and numerous regional, state and local bar conferences. Mr. Clay has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post and the New York Times.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is a Fellow in the College of Law Practice Management.
