My Connect Profile

Information regarding how to update your My Connect Profile.

Q: How do I update my contact information?
From the My Connect Profile landing page, click “edit contact information”. This directs you to LMA International’s Web site, where you may make any necessary changes.  When you change information here, it will be updated in all of our systems.  To return to LMA Connect, page backwards or re-enter the url.

Q: I made changes to my contact information. Why doesn’t it show up right away?
Everytime you log into LMA Connect, it synchronizes your information with the LMA membership database. So you will need to log out and log into LMA Connect again to see the changes reflected in your LMA Connect Profile.  If your information hasn’t updated after 24 hours, contact Membership Services.

Q: My picture won’t upload. What’s wrong?
The dimensions of the image must be no larger than 600 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. The file size (kilobytes, megabytes, etc.) does not matter. You can check the dimensions in programs like Photoshop, Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Photo Editor. The image must also be saved in a .jpg, .gif or .bmp format.

Q: I clicked on the “edit my contact information” link, and I’m being asked to log in to the LMA International Web site. I thought I was already logged in.
If you are accessing eGroups or Libraries from links in an e-mail, you are logged into LMA Connect, but not the main LMA Web site (www.legalmarketing.org).  To protect your information, we have not enabled the automatic login to access this area of the site.
