How did you get into Legal Marketing?
Oddly enough…by pure coincidence. Until April of 2011 I had served in a marketing role for the architecture/engineering/construction industry for more than a decade. My former firm had relocated me to NYC and, just about a year later, my husband and I had to move back to Boston due to health reasons on both sides of our family. Unfortunately, my former position in Boston had already been filled but this also allowed me to explore other career options and I landed at Robinson & Cole!

Describe a perfect day.
Personally: A hard morning workout followed by an afternoon at the beach and dinner outside by the ocean. Professionally: Getting through my to do list!

What is your favorite website?
I don’t know that I have a favorite but I definitely had to stop visiting ones like Groupon and Buy With Me because it was beginning to cost me a fortune! I did get some pretty good deals though!

What is your favorite form of social media? 
I would have to say Facebook because everyone is just too busy to stay in touch as much as we would like to. Facebook is a nice way to stay connected to the lives of those important to me, regardless of where they live, until we have time to catch up via phone or in person.

What was the last book that you read and would you recommend it?
I would recommend The Girl with A Dragon Tattoo. I am just getting back into my book club after a longer than expected hiatus, and we are starting Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand.  It is a slow start but promises to be good,so I will have to get back to you.

If you were to have dinner with anyone, who would you pick?
My husband’s mom because I never had the chance to meet her.

What is your favorite holiday? 
Without a doubt-- Christmas. As soon as I am done eating Thanksgiving dinner, I am already thinking about getting a tree! I love everything about it…the decorations, the music, the crowds…but most of all I love wrapping presents. I pick a color theme each year and love to go all out with the ribbon and bows. I am getting all wound up just thinking about it. My husband thinks I am insane – he could be right.

Do you have any pet peeves?  
When people say that something can’t be done and don’t try to think of a way to make to make it work. I understand that some things really cannot be done but, most of the time if you just think creatively, a solution can be reached that satisfies all parties. As I say this, I realize that I get this from my father and he will laugh if he ever reads this.

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite movie that you do not mind watching over and over again?
I really am the worst with movies – there are so many that I haven’t seen but I could definitely watch Grease or Pretty Woman repeatedly.
