No

What appeals to you about being a YHA judge this year?

Being a YHA judge allows me to get a glimpse into the creative and innovative minds of fellow marketers. In an industry that isn’t necessarily known for its creativity, it’s been a pleasure to see how far we’ve come at convincing lawyers to think out of the box when it comes to marketing. And I appreciate having the opportunity to help recognize the work of those whose work often goes unrecognized.

Yes, 2008 Best in Show and first place in internal communications for the ILNBriefs project

What appeals to you about being a YHA judge this year?

I love being a YHA judge because it gives me the opportunity to see some of the best, most creative projects that our industry is working on.  Too often, it's easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of our day-to-day work, but taking the time to review the carefully prepared entries for some of the really smart and innovative work being done in legal marketing today both gives me the opportunity to recognize the brilliance that we have among our colleagues here in LMA, and pushes me to stretch my own creativity.

No

What appeals to you about being a YHA judge this year?

After having been an officer of the board for our LMA Vancouver Chapter for four years, including dedicating one of those years to the role of president (2015), I wanted to give back to the LMA International through my participation in the 2016 YHA judging panel. I was also excited and interested to see the breadth of work legal marketers have committed their time and energy to, on behalf of the firm’s they represent.

How many years have you been in marketing?

10 years

Are you a past YHA winner?

My former firm, Adams and Reese, earned an LMASE Your Honor Award for community relations.

What appeals to you about being a YHA judge this year?

I am so inspired by the conversations that I have daily with other LMA members and I’ve always loved combing through the YHA winners at the annual conference and online. Having recently moved to a new city, this was the perfect way to maintain involvement with LMA while contributing to a very cool project that I’ve always loved.
